If weather conditions are favourable, the chimney stacks at the decommissioned Hazelwood power station will come down on Monday. Various public safety precautions include the closure of roads around the former plant.

Drivers are being warned that they may experience delays between 10am and 4pm on Monday, on these roads in the Morwell area: the Princes Freeway, Strzelecki Highway, Monash Way and Brodribb Road.

See our previous story about the Hazelwood chimneys HERE.
