Warning of aftershocks after North Gippsland quake
At least eight aftershocks have been reported following yesterday's large earthquake, the epicentre of which is now known to be north of Rawson, rather than near Mansfield as first thought.
The 5.9 magnitude tremor struck just after 9.15am rattling buildings across Gippsland and the state.
The SES said they received around 100 calls for help, some of them from around Gippsland. They say no one was injured.
For earthquake related emergency assistance from the SES call 132 500.
