Statement from BUPA:

A health professional who visited the Bupa Traralgon home has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

The health professional visited our home on Thursday 16 July and did not have any symptoms at that time.

All residents and employees will now be tested for COVID-19 to determine if there are any other infections in the home. We are working closely with DHHS and will continue to closely monitor the health of those residents and staff who were in contact with the health professional.

While all our Victorian care homes have been temporarily closed to visitors since Wednesday 8 July, Bupa will ensure residents can continue to communicate with their loved ones through virtual means.
