Traralgon's REH Cork Club hopes for big support for the Good Friday Appeal

Volunteer collectors from the Royal Exchange Hotel Cork Club in Traralgon will be out collecting again for the Royal Childrens Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

In past years they have been at the Breed Street traffic lights on the Princes Highway in Traralgon. However for safety reasons, they have moved their collection points to popular and safe off-road highway locations.

Today (Thursday) and tomorrow they will be at McDonalds - Traralgon Central and Traralgon East, and BP Traralgon East.

The tin rattling at these locations will be the Cork Club's main fundraising activity this Easter, in the absense of their usual family fun day in the Royal Exchange Hotel car park.

However regular performer Leigh Thomas will be at Flanagan's Irish Bar at the hotel on Good Friday afternoon. You can listen to some great music, buy a few raffle tickets and support the Royal Childrens Hospital.

Meanwhile, locals and passers-by are being encouraged to stop at one of the three collection points and make a generous donation to support the appeal.

For those who would like to volunteer some time as a donation collector, some spots still need to be filled.
